Thunderstorm Artis Analyzes the Top 3 on American Idol

In a recent appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show, Thunderstorm Artis, a season 23 contestant of American Idol, opened up about his thoughts after being eliminated from the competition. Although he did not make it to the top 3, Artis expressed his support for the remaining finalists: 25-year-old Breanna Nix, 18-year-old John Foster, and 27-year-old Jamal Roberts. The grand finale is set to air on May 18, 2025, and Artis is excited to see his friends take the stage.

Feeling Grateful Despite His Elimination

During his conversation with Seacrest, Thunderstorm mentioned that it was a disappointment not to hear his name called among the top 3 contestants but emphasized the talent of those who made it. He stated, “It for sure would have been nice if my name was called… but everyone who’s in the final three deserves to be in that position.”

She wrote, “You left it all out on that stage and I couldn’t be more proud.” Faith acknowledged the significance of making it to the top 5 and emphasized that this is not the end of his musical journey.

After his exit from the show, Thunderstorm Artis also said he’s looking forward to future opportunities in the music industry. He noted, “For me, it’s about, ‘How fast can we get music out? How fast can we make connections?’” This perspective reflects his determination to keep pushing forward despite his recent setback in the competition.

While talking to Seacrest, Artis showered praise on the top three finalists. He acknowledged Jamal Roberts for his impressive performances throughout the season, saying, “There wasn’t a performance that Jamal did that I wasn’t impressed with.” Artis also expressed admiration for John Foster, stating that John’s smile makes you feel “right at home somewhere, fishing.”

Despite his personal disappointment, Thunderstorm is diplomatic about the upcoming finale, asserting, “I believe in all three of them.” He maintained that each contestant has the potential to be a star, regardless of the competition’s outcome.
